They are disgusting but unavoidable when (1) our apartments have shared walls and pipes with other units; (2) there is tons of construction around which tends to disturb their homes; (3) there are tons of restaurants now where the rubbish and food will attract them. I have seen plenty of rats running rampant in Ground and Plaza level as well.

If it's only one or two, I wouldn't worry about it. S*it happens. If you start seeing more then look into setting traps and roach powder. Bay leaves also help for some reason.

the Minutes in Ibn Batutta and MOE stopped cutting keys months ago (if that has changed, do let us know as am tired of driving to Satwa). The closest key cutting from JBR is Satwa. If you work by Lamcy - there is a place in Lamcy plaza that cuts keys.
