An Al Maya Supermarket will shortly be completed in Barhar; the sign are being installed now. It looks quite large; many times larger than Deals. Once the link between Amwaj and Rimal is open it will not be a very long walk.

Looks like we have to update the list again ;o)

Gallerie One, Better Life and Intercoil is open in Sadaf Ground level (and Marina Homes if I am not mistaken)

Dubai Islamic Bank in Bahar is open. as well as American Baywatch and Asian Art Gallery. (think more are actually open, but cant remember 100%)

In Rimal Maldini and Optic Center is open on plaza level

In Amwaj ground level Grand Optic is open.

More are soon to come. Will be travelling the next week. Looking forward to come back and see how much has changed.

Does anyone have any idea of when the Al Maya groceries will open. The one in Bahar seems ready to fill the shelves. It looks like they will open in a matter of weeks... But it is Dubai so we never know what happens next ;o)

Starbucks in Bahar is open and the super market looks like it's going to open in few days! Yeah!

Hi All,

Have recently arrived in Dubai and JBR. Firstly have to say awesome website! Has been a great help.

In regards to the Walk, did a bit of ringing around and there is a contact number for the Walk (3900091) at which you can find out the latest information on shops that are opening/opened and there contact details.

Also spoke to one of there customer reps and they sent me this excel listing of contact numbers for some of the shops open so far. He did mention there are more open shops than on this list however they may not have contact numbers for these as of yet.

Hope this helps.

mista_masta,

Brilliant, I've printed it off. Thanks!

Thank you for the effort to put this list together, just to keep the list updated I think Paul has changed the location from to the ground floor of Rimal.

Does anyone know when the BBQ restauarant on Ground Level at Amwaj opens? It's just after the big arch for the new hotel down there.

Thanks
